Bev has been playing volleyball for over 40 years, and still plays women’s and coed volleyball indoors and sand. The sportsmanship and athleticism that she exhibited on her high school volleyball team earned her awards including All-Conference 1st Team, All-District, All-State, MVP and a 4 year volleyball scholarship to Drury University in Springfield, MO. She also earned a competitive scholastic scholarship each year and graduated with a degree in Accounting and Business Administration.
Beverly founded Club Net in 1999 with the hopes that all young players would have the opportunity to learn the great sport of volleyball which could possibly aid them in furthering their education and their opportunities in life by attending college, hopefully with the financial assistance of a volleyball scholarship. In 2003, she received the Robert L. Lindsay USA Volleyball Meritorious Service award for her contributions to the growth and support of volleyball in her community and to USA Volleyball.
